My Species



Hey guys!
I found a species:
Mentha spicata
picture:
It's common name is Spearmint.
I have another plant, and this one is commonly called a hydrangea.
scientific name, Hydrangea macrophylla.

  3. I love the Spearmint plant. The pictures you collected were very nice and it must be interesting to be able to study those plants! I do have one question however. How were you able to fully figure out/understand that these two plants are truly the ones that are in your plot?

  5. I agree with student 8. It seems slightly peculiar that there would be spearmint on a plot that has no natural growing plants only planted ones. But maybe you are right. I havn't looked closely at your plot.

  6. @Student08, I think that it's because the teacher told me that it was mint, and I recognize from my backyard garden. I also smelled it.
